When you are close enough to somebody, you influence them. And they influence you. This might be through touch, voice, gestures, thoughts or feelings. To a large extent, this kind of communication takes place without the participants’ awareness, unconsciously.
Sometimes a single, unintentional look can end a heated exchange and change the atmosphere.
Notice whether something surprising happens for a moment during a conflict. How intense is it, how fast, what form does it take?
Or is there something difficult in this contact, something that you don’t want? What is it?
